Sophie carefully cultivates her saffron at an altitude of 1200 m in Saint-Léger-les-Mélèzes. Her garden is the object of all her attention, mixing spicy fragrances, herbs and vegetables from the garden with her saffron culture.
The saffron flowers are harvested in autumn, and everything is done by hand, from picking to pruning, which preserves all the saffron's qualities. Sophie has also developed a business producing and selling ready-made meals. She is very keen to work locally with other local producers.
