Ayous Refuge

From the top of its promontory at an altitude of 1,980 m in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, the Ayous refuge offers a breathtaking view of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau.

With a relatively easy access, it is a destination for families but also for the most sportive ones because of its location on the GR 10.

The guardians of the refuge will give you a warm welcome, comfortable and tasty.

The refuge is open and guarded from mid-May to mid-October.

During the guarded period, a dormitory of 13 places is at the disposal of the most courageous hikers. Be careful, there is no gas, no fireplace, and running water outside. Take a good comforter... it's cold up there! And remember to bring down your garbage to leave a clean place for the next ones.
