The Loz'Air tepee

Myriam and Claude invite you to reconnect with nature in a traditional Amerindian habitat. These nomads of the Great Plains of the northern USA lived in tipis, which were easy to transport to follow the movements of the buffalo herds they hunted.

• The Tipi

The tipis are fitted out with beds for your comfort, so you can slip into the shoes of an Indian for a night, a weekend or longer, and enjoy the exceptional view of Mont Lozère, and dream under the starry sky as night falls. In fact, we have very little light pollution in Lozère, and every year we welcome a large number of passionate astronomers. In fact, in 2018, the Cévennes National Park was recognized as Europe's largest International Dark Sky Reserve (RICE)!
