Refuge of Migouélou

Built in 1971, the Migouélou refuge is located near the dam of the same name and on the edge of a grandiose lake. The refuge is guarded in summer from June 15 to the last weekend of September. During this period, only a dormitory of eight beds is available for the most courageous hikers. Jean-Sébastien, the hut's keeper, offers accommodation and a convivial and gourmet table at an altitude of 2,278 meters. In the morning you will have the great privilege to wake up to the sound of the whistling of the marmots.

Access : 3 hours of ascent (900 m of difference in altitude) from the Plaa d'Aste parking lot.
