The orchards of Gardeloup

Les Vergers de Gardeloup produce mainly fresh or processed fruits. They can also offer you some vegetables (tubers and squash) and perfume, aromatic and medicinal plants.

The orchards are run by Denis who is an experienced arborist.

His project is to create pedestrian orchards (hand cultivation), with a high density of plants, as well as an edible forest, all of which will value a large number of different species and varieties, either local varieties, generally old, or varieties adapted to the mountain. The whole orchard is managed in biodynamic way (Nature & Progrès approval). Mr. Richoux is a trainer in agro-ecology and would like to welcome school children to the farm and organize various training courses.

The products are sold on the spot (direct sale) and in stores in the Aure valley (Biocoop in Arreau and Lannemezan).
