A new private art venue has been open to the public in the Var since June 2023. The Musée du Niel, located on the water's edge of the Giens peninsula in Hyères, is dedicated to painting from the second half of the 20th century, with a new thematic exhibition every season from May to October, highlighting the particularly innovative artistic currents that still influence contemporary creation today.

The Musée du Niel is accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM) and offers :

a reserved parking space in the garden for an individual vehicle or a shuttle bus equipped for PRM. Remember to book in advance by phoning the museum on 04 94 91 74 22
an elevator to access the various exhibition levels and the outdoor restaurant terrace.
