Sparkling wine - Le Muid Montsaugeonnais

Our terroirs, located in Vaux-sous-Aubigny, Montsaugeon, Rivières-les-fosses and Chatoillenot, are particularly well-suited to vine-growing, owing their quality to both soil composition and exposure. Our 4 grape varieties - Pinot noir, Gamay, Chardonnay and Auxerrois - flourish here and offer us their flavors.

Since the creation of Muid Montsaugeonnais, Dominique and Isabelle, our winemakers, and their teams, have given the vineyard a real identity. Their expertise has been recognized and rewarded on several occasions (Salon de l'Agriculture, Guide Hachette des vins, etc.).

Since 2020, we have been pursuing our quest for quality with the conversion to organic farming and parcel-based vinification, which will enable our wines to better reveal the quality of our terroirs.

Production, harvesting, vinification, bottling (carried out by a service provider) and storage (cellar and vats) are all carried out on the farm.

Sparkling wine :

• Sparkling wine made using traditional methods such as Crémant Bourgogne or Alsace. This product is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, hence the name "Blanc de Blancs".
• Terroir: mid-slope clay-limestone soil
• Exposure: southeast
• Average age of vines: 18 years
• Tasting: served after 2 years, the effervescence will be regular and fine, with the typical Chardonnay character: serve between 6° and 8° C.
